Titans defeat the Ravens in OT 30-24

The Tennessee Titans scored on a 1-yard pass from Ryan Tannehill to tight end Jonnu Smith to take a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. The Ravens answered with a 30-yard field goal by Justin Tucker.

The Ravens defense came up with an interception as they picked off Tannehill with a pass intended for Jonnu Smith. Baltimore would again score off the leg of Tucker, knocking in a chip shot 27-yard field goal to bring the score 7-6.

The Ravens scored on a 2 yard run from J.K. Dobbins, also completing the two-point conversion to take a 14-10 lead going into halftime.

Baltimore would come out to start the second half with a 31-yard touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson to Mark Andrews to go up 21-10. The Titans would come back with a 40-yard field goal from Stephen Gostkowski.

The Ravens turned the ball over on their next possession, giving the Titans another opportunity to score, and they took full advantage with Gostowski kicking another field goal, this time from 22 yards out to make it 21-16. The Ravens would punt their next possession giving Tennessee a chance to take the lead as Tannehill completed a 14-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Brown. The Titans went for two and were a success to take a 24-21 lead late in the fourth.

Baltimore’s Justin kicked a 29-yard field goal that sent the game into overtime. After receiving the ball first, the Ravens went three and out, pounding the ball to Tennessee, where Derrick Henry would bust loose for a 29-yard touchdown run to end the game. This was a much-needed win for the Titans as they try to keep pace with the Indianapolis Colts for the top spot in the AFC South.
