Turnovers kept Alabama from beating A&M. They had 10 turnovers in the second half, finishing the game with 19 turnovers while the Aggies converted 29 points off of those turnovers. At one point, Alabama turned the ball over on three straight possessions, which to an Aggies’ 10-2 run with 15:49 left in regulation.

A Delayed Meeting

This meeting was the first men’s basketball matchup between the schools in over two years, with their last meeting coming on February 19, 2020.

A mix of COVID-19 forced cancellations along with an icy day that forced a cancellation are to blame for the long delay.

Alabama has the lead in the all-time series with a 12-10 record series against the Aggies. However, A&M has won four-straight games against the Crimson Tide after Wednesday’s upset.

The Aggies have won five of the last six games in the series, including a three-game winning streak on Alabama’s home court.
