Seattle improves to 7-3 with their win Thursday night, to sit atop the loaded NFC East. The Seahawks started with a 25-yard pass from Russell Wilson to DK Metcaff in the first quarter to take a 7-0 lead.
Arizona answered back to tie the game in the second quarter with a 2 yard run by Kenyan Drake. Wilson, not to be outdone, comes right back with an 11-yard pass to Tyler Lockett. Seattle would miss the extra point but could score a 27-yard field goal to end the first half up 16-7.
The Cardinals QB Kyler Murray starts the second half off with an 11- yard pass for a touchdown to tight end Dan Arnold to close the gap, now only being down by two points.
The Seahawks responded with another touchdown, this time from running back Carlos Hyde to extend their lead to 23-14.
Murray and the Cardinals wouldn’t go down without a fight as they once again answered with a 3-yard pass to Chase Edmonds bringing it back to a 2 point game 23-21.
Seattle would get a break on defense with a penalty called on the Cardinals, who were in their end zone causing a safety and adding to their lead late in the fourth quarter. Seahawks would also score on a 41-yard field goal bringing the score to 28-21, which would ultimately win them the game as Arizona turned it over on downs in the final possession.
Kyler Murray finished with 269 yards and two touchdowns.
Russell Wilson finished with 197 yards, two touchdowns, and zero turnovers.
