Packers defeat Jaguars 24-20

It was a back and forth battle all game long, with the Jaguars scoring a 52-yard field goal from Chase McLaughlin in the first quarter to go up 3- 0. Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers responded to start the second quarter with a 78-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to take a 7-3 lead. Green Bay wouldn’t hold the lead for long as their special teams gave up a 91-yard punt return to Keelan Cole Sr.

The Packers again would respond with a 5-yard run for the score by Rodgers. Mason Crosby also added a 39-yard field goal to take a 17-10 halftime lead. Things didn’t start as smooth for Green Bay in the second half as Rodgers completes a short pass to wide receiver Davante Adams who then fumbled the ball, recovered by Jacksonville.

The Jaguars came out to start the second half fresh off the fumble recovery to tie things up 17-17 with a 12-yard touchdown pass from Quarterback Jake Luton to Keelan Cole Sr. Luton threw for 169 yards, one touchdown, and one interception completing 18 of 35 passes.

Aaron Rodgers threw a rare interception in the third quarter intended for Valdes-Scantling as the Packers struggles continued as they found themselves down 20-17 in the fourth quarter. Green Bay went down to the wire against Jacksonville to earn their 7th win of the season thanks to a spectacular 6-yard touchdown catch by Adams from Rodgers to win the game.

Rodgers finished with 325 yards completing 24 of 34 passes, two touchdowns, and one interception.
