NBA free agency is one of the most anticipated days in sports. Teams trade, reshape, re-sign and restock their rosters to prepare for the new NBA season in hopes that it will get them one step closer to hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy and this year isn’t any different. Free agency began on November 20th and teams immediately started to shake things up, as we all waited with high anticipation to see which NBA stars would be changing scenery or staying put. Here’s a list of notable stars who were involved with free agency.
Point Guard John Wall has request to be traded from the Washington Wizards.
The Sacramento Kings and De’Aaron Fox agree to a five year $163M max contract extension with a clause to reach the super max of $195.6M.
The Los Angles Lakers and reigning sixth man of the year Montrezl Harrell agree to a two year $19M deal.
The Philadelphia 76ers and Dwight Howard agree on a one year $2.6M deal.
The Houston Rockets and Christian Wood agree to a three year $41M deal.
The Brooklyn Nets agree to a four year $75M deal re-signing Joe Harris
The Detroit Pistons and Jerami Grant agree to a three year $60M deal. They also sign Mason Plumlee three years $25M, big man Jahlil Okafor and F Josh Jackson.
The Charlotte Hornets sign free agent Gordon Hayward to four years $120M.
The Los Angels Clippers re-sign Marcus Morris agreeing to four years $64M.
The Washington Wizards agree to a deal re-signing Davis Bertans on five years $80M.
The New York Knicks signed Alec Burks to a one year $6M deal.
The Miami Heat and Moe Harkless agree to one year $3.6M deal.
The Golden State Warriors finalizing a trade to acquire F Kelly Oubre Jr. for a 2021 protected first round NBA draft pick.
