Lakers Withstand the Heat’s Late Rally to Go Up 2-0 in The 2020 NBA Finals

Date:

The Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Miami Heat 124-114 to take a 2-0 series lead. It was another dominant performance from Anthony Davis who had 32 pts, 14 rebs, and LeBron James with 33 pts, 9 rebs, 9 asts. Jimmy Butler put up a tough fight leading the Heat with 25 pts, 13 asts, 8 rebs, and a late fourth-quarter rally from the Heat was not enough.

The Miami Heat had a rough start to game 2 before the contest got underway. We learned earlier in the day that Heat big man Bam Adebayo (shoulder) and Goran Dragić (foot) wouldn’t be playing in game 2 due to injuries.

The Heat look to get on track in game 3 Sunday night at 7:30 pm on ABC
