Date:

Jimmy Butler and Lebron James battled all night long. It was a dog fight down the stretch, but the Heat found a way to grind out a game 5 win Friday night.

Butler once again showcases why he belongs on the biggest stage of them all NBA playing for 47 minutes in the NBA Finals and notching another triple-double 35 pts,12 rebs, and 11 asts, shooting 11/19 from the field and 12/12 from the free throw line all while hitting big shots for his team late in the game.

Lebron James put up his own triple double 40 pts,13 rebs, 7 asts, going 15/21 shooting 6/9 from the three point line. Anthony Davis added 28 pts, 12 rebs as they combined for 68 of the Lakers’ 108 points.

Anthony Davis went down earlier in the first half with an apparent ankle/leg injury, but stayed around the bench with no trainers around him.

Jimmy Butler tired towards the end of the game, but gave his all to assure a Heat victory and avoid an elimination. Game 6 will be on Sunday, October 11 at 7:30 pm on ABC.
