Most tennis matches last around an hour and a half. Some can take close to three hours. But not the Olympic gold medal match, which German Alexander Zverev won in 79 minutes, beating Karen Khachanov in straight sets.

Dominant Performance
Zverev beat Novak Djokovic in the semifinals to get to the finals, winning by coming back to frustrate the star. After that, he carried his momentum to earn a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Khachanov to earn only the second German tennis singles title in German history, joining Steffi Graf in 1988. The 6 foot 6 German displayed all his ability, serving six aces, forcing 27 errors, and winning 12 of 14 net points. Zverev now will look toward the 2021 US Open, where he will face off against Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer among many other stars.
