CHICAGO, IL – Dynamite continues to increase the hype for All Out this Sunday, September 4. The Elite face United Empire in the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament to determine who goes for the championships at All Out. And, ahead of their four-way Interim AEW Women’s Championship match at All Out, Dynamite sees a tag team match between Hikaru Shida and Toni Storm against Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Jamie Hayter.

Bryan Danielson vs. Jake Hager

Ahead of his match against “Lionheart” Chris Jericho at All Out, Danielson takes on Jake Hager from the Jericho Appreciation Society. Danielson goes for low round kicks before trying to take Hager down. Hager lands punch after punch in the corner before throwing Danielson across the ring. To regain control, Danielson locks in a guillotine before sending Hager outside the ring. When Danielson dives at Hager, Hager catches him, sending him through a table.

Back in the ring, Hager forearms Danielson on the mat before trying to wrangle Danielson into a knee bar. Hager continuously punches Danielson on the top rope before jumping down to the mat, leaving him vulnerable to Danielson’s dropkick. This shifts the match as Danielson comes back with body shots and Yes Kicks for a two count. Danielson gets Hager into a triangle and doesn’t let up as he lands elbow after elbow before Hager powerbombs Danielson to escape the hold.

When Danielson picks Hager’s ankle, he locks in the Lebell Lock, but Hager makes it to the ropes. Danielson doesn’t let up, delivering huge chops and kicks to Hager. After Danielson lands a Psycho Knee, Hager’s attempt to weaken Danielson for Jericho before All Out was proven unsuccessful as he can’t kick out of the pin, giving Danielson the win.

Hikaru Shida and Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter and Dr. Britt Baker DMD

Shida and Hayter kick off the match. Hayter comes out strong with a shove and a kick before knocking Shida to the mat. Shida doesn’t stay down for long as she spikes Hayter on the mat before tagging in Storm. Storm kicks Hayter into the corner before Shida and her take turns jumping off the top rope to hit Hayter’s back. Hayter lands a jawbreaker to give herself time to tag in Baker.

Off the top rope, Storm DDTs Baker, but Baker crawls to make the tag to Hayter. Hayter comes in hot, but Shida quickly shuts her down with a haymaker and a delayed vertical suplex for a two count. This doesn’t deter Hayter as she double suplexes Storm and Shida before Baker comes in, landing a neckbreaker on Shida for a two count.

After blocking Baker from putting on her glove for the Lockjaw, Shida lands a huge knee to her face. Successfully pinning Baker, Shida picks up momentum for her and Storm heading into the Interim AEW Women’s Championship match Sunday.

FTR and Wardlow vs. Silas Young, Ren Jones, and Vic Capri

Ahead of FTR and Wardlow’s trios match at All Out, they show a bit of what they’re capable of in this match. Jones and Wardlow start the match, and Wardlow makes the first move with a massive headbutt and lariat.

Wardlow’s tag to Wheeler lasts for a few seconds as he lands a back elbow and snap suplex before tagging Harwood. After Harwood chops Jones in the corner, forcing him to tag in Capri. When Harwood lands a short-arm lariat and a Big Rig with Wheeler on Capri, Wardlow steps in with a Powerbomb Symphony for the win.

Rey Fenix vs. Wheeler Yuta vs. Rush vs. Dante Martin

Yuta and Rush fight for the upper hand in the ring as Yuta looks for the flying octopus hold, but Rush fights back with a backdrop and a powerslam. Martin lands a crossbody to take out Rush, and Fenix hops in the ring. The two go back and forth with quick pins.

Dragging Rush back to the ring, Martin is stopped from a dive with a headbutt from Rush. Rush release German suplexes Martin into Fenix before Yuta dropkicks Martin. With a straightjacket piledriver to Yuta, Rush nearly ends the match.

Fenix rocks Yuta from the top rope before diving at Rush outside. However, Yuta isn’t down for long. He quickly climbs back up for a splash, but Martin is too fast and rolls away. Martin sends Yuta to the apron, and both are back in the ring with an overhook. Trapping Martin in a seatbelt pin, Yuta picks up the win ahead of the Casino Ladder Match on Sunday.

The Elite vs. United Empire – AEW World Trios Championship Tournament Dynamite Final

Ospreay immediately goes for Omega with a shoulder tackle before the two go back and forth. The Young Bucks step in to stop the assault, making Aussie Open enter the ring to even the playing field. With an assisted hurricanrana, Nick takes out Ospreay before things quickly get out of control outside the ring.

Before tagging in Omega, Matt lands a cassadora on Ospreay. Omega lands a double axhandle and a double dropkick on Davis. Looking for the V-Trigger, Omega is interrupted by Ospreay attempting an Oscutte, but Omega sees it coming and catches him. After Ospreay sends Omega outside the ring with a hurricanrana, Ospreay attempts to keep the momentum going but is once again caught by a snap dragon.

Back in the ring, Aussie Open hit Omega with a delayed double suplex off the top rope. Nick alternates between taking out Aussie Open and Ospreay as he lands a double facebuster before taking out Ospreay outside the ring. Pushing Ospreay back in the ring for a 450, Nick is hit with a snap dragon instead. Omega comes back in, trading shots with Ospreay before going for a V-Trigger that Ospreay counters into a liger bomb.

When United Empire goes for the assisted Oscutter on Nick, Nick counters, beginning the Superkick Party for Fletcher. Unable to withstand a second Superkick Party and Omega’s V-Trigger and One Winged Angel, The Elite win the match and move on to the AEW World Trios Championship Match at All Out.

The buildup for All Out Sunday, September 4, continues Friday on AEW Rampage at 10 pm EST on TNT. The Best Friends and Orange Cassidy take on the Dark Order and Hangman Adam Page in the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament Final.
